︎"Z" é uma coletânea de imagens que faz alusão à história do coronel britânico Percy Harrison Fawcett, que em 1925 tentou encontrar, na selva amazônica brasileira, uma antiga e lendária cidade, a qual apelidou de "Z". O encontro com essa civilização perdida prometia ser uma das maiores descobertas arqueológicas da história da humanidade. Entretanto, após adentrarem a região do Alto Xingú, Fawcett e os membros de sua expedição desapareceram na floresta.
Rios, matas e animais são alguns dos assuntos desta mostra, que reúne fotografias digitais reproduzidas com a técnica da fotogravura. Duas linhas narrativas são exploradas: a jornada pelo rio e pela mata. Dois pontos de vista se revelam: paisagens a partir do leito do rio e situações encontradas dentro da mata. Uma série de rastros, vestígios, pistas – indícios misteriosos oferecidos à interpretação de quem os observa.

"Z" is a collection of images that alludes to the story of British colonel Percy Harrison Fawcett, who in 1925 tried to find in the Brazilian Amazon jungle an ancient and legendary city, which he nicknamed "Z". The encounter with this lost civilization promised to be one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in human history. However, after entering the Upper Xingú region, Fawcett and the members of his expedition disappeared into the forest.
Rivers, woods and animals are one of the subjects of this exhibition, which brings together digital photographs reproduced with the technique of photogravure. Two narrative lines are explored: the journey through the river and through the forest. Two points of view are revealed: landscapes from the riverbed and situations found within the forest. A series of tracks, traces, clues - mysterious clues offered to the interpretation of those who observe them.
